Understanding the Recruiting Game
- "Around the Ivy League, between 50 and 60 percent of all recruited athletes are now accepted under early decision programs, compared to 30 to 40 percent of the general applicant pool. This is a trend that reflects both the increasing popularity of Early Decision as an option for all applicants, and the pressure on kids to commit to a coach, get on the (recruiting) list, and take their best shot at getting in."*
- "Beginning with the class admitted in 2003, the NESCAC presidents, like their Ivy brethren, agreed to enforce limits on the number of athletic recruits who can be admitted to each school annually."* The athletic recruiting landscape can change. Athletes and their families must be informed about recent trends while navigating the recruiting process.
- As the potential exist for injury or other unforeseen circumstances, the prospective college player must assess a schools academic, social, and overall fit as well as the athletic suitability.

Letter From the Director
Dear Prospective College Player,
Despite spending four years on the professional tour, traveling to interesting countries, and playing in three Grand Slams, my most satisfying moments and most vivid memories from all of my years playing tennis occurred in college. There's no matching the raw enthusiasm, energy, and excitement of playing for your team and your school.
Finding the right college as a student and a tennis player is an important task. The right decision will allow you to take advantage of the unique opportunity that college tennis offers: organized practices and daily coaching, tennis facilities at your disposal, and a team of strong players all pushing one another toward excellence. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy and improve your tennis.
Whether you possess a top national ranking or no ranking at all, we help you identify college programs that match your skills, and help you navigate the entire process. Contact us as soon possible to get the direction you need to take charge of the process.
Sincerely,
Tim Donovan, Founder and Director
